DURIAN ESCAPES

We had the most fabulous stay at Primrose 2, check-in was simple and contact-free, and Philippa had left milk and a drinks tray for us, with even a few biscuits thrown in after a 10 and a half hour journey down that was much appreciated! The accommodation was so clean and exactly what we expected it to be from the description and photographs. Philippa really has thought of everything her guests will need during their stay, with even tea towels, cleaning products and bath towels provided. They left us to get on with our holiday but it was very clear - if we needed anything at all, they were only a text or a phone call away! Durian Escapes is the most wonderful estate, so peacefully quiet and absolutely stunning -it's one of those places where you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but in reality, you are 10 minutes away from anything in the car! The gardens, meadows and stream are absolutely beautiful and our dog absolutely loved running around! The accommodation is great value for money, we will certainly return! My daughter left her beloved Guinea Pig teddy behind which Philippa found during the turnaround clean, she sent us a photo to let my daughter know she was safe and sound and took our address to post her back to us - nothing is too much trouble for her and she made a little girl very happy! Thank you Philippa and Ross for such a wonderful stay! We can't wait to join you again!
